Anayansi Prado

Anayansi Prado is an award-winning documentary filmmaker born in Panama. Her documentary films Maid in America (2004), Children in No Man’s Land (2008), and Paraiso for Sale (2011), have been broadcast nationally on PBS, and have won numerous film festival awards. Anayansi is a Film Expert on the U.S. State Department’s film program The American Film Showcase. She is also a recipient of a Rockefeller Media Fellowship and has received funding from The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Creative Capital, and others. She holds a BA in Film from Boston University.
